  1. Maybe, but in pubs the start matters more than the lane label

  2. Honestly I like BKB more when the game is messy. Blink is great for starting, but if you jump and just get chain-stopped, the whole hero looks sad. In pro games it feels like they buy both pretty fast anyway, so maybe the real answer is just survive the first hit 🙂

  3. I get that, but I have seen plenty of pro drafts where OD looked fine early and then got shoved around once the map opened up. If the hero needs space to keep playing his game, cleaner casting only helps so much.

  4. Yeah, and the lower base ms makes that hurt even more. Feels like you need better pathing now or you just get run down after one bad shuffle.

  5. Had a game where one Jakiro just parked mid and every wave became a small war. Felt like playing against a fridge with legs.

  6. Sure, that part matters too, just not as much as people think

  7. Pubs already spam her when the build feels comfortable, so this kind of tuning can matter a lot. The point is not to make her fair in some abstract way, it is to keep the hero playable without making every cast feel awkward. Small buffs to flow often show up more than raw damage changes.

  8. The part I like is the tiny stack of buffs instead of some giant rework. Brood stays Brood, just a bit smoother on tempo, and that usually matters more in actual drafts than people admit. If the spider game gets easier without turning her into a stat brick, that feels pretty healthy to me.

  9. Honestly I think this hero lives or dies by the first ten minutes now. If he gets pressured off lane once, the whole kit starts looking way more average. In coordinated games he still has a place, but in random pubs the nerfs stack up fast.

  10. The item list says everything. Blink, BKB, Aghs, Force, Shiva, that’s not a hero trying to duel, that’s a hero trying to force one exact target into a bad place and make the whole team pay for it. When Bat is ahead and the supports can’t break formation, it feels disgusting to play against. When he’s behind, though, he looks like a guy with two spells and a sad horse.
